THE GRAVITY OF LOVE
by K. B. Johnson © Winter, 2005

As it exists within the universe,
heavenly bodies revolve and intertwine in friction
unpretentiously, the correlating rotation of pulses gyrates in neutrality.

Where bliss is found from the warmth of penetration,
emissary of exposed hearts,
atoms of emotions between the earth and moon fuse.
Arousing and sensual reaction and interaction burns... and intensifies.
As it exists within the universe,
so luminous is love that it outshines the sun.
And with the culminating diffusion and amalgamation of wind and water,
the blackness of the womb that is the universe proliferates its existence.

Where misery is felt from betrayal,
by the act of an immature heart,
the temperament of moods between the earth and moon divide.
Disturbing and corporeal retorts and dealings pain... and intensify.
As it exist within the universe,
so heavy is love that it swallows a black hole.
And with the devastating separation and disintegration of day and night,
the void of the heart that is the universe proliferates its existence.

As it exists within the universe,
love—like any natural force—is unbiased.
And like any given star, love has its phases.
When shared, it is only one's maturity that defines its experience.
