Plain or beautiful, it doesn't matter really.
What matters is deep, down inside—
what you feel to be the beating truth—
and if you give your heart to me,
I will cherish it eternally.
And I don't care about your imperfections,
for I am human, too;
and like you, bound to make and learn from life's mistakes.
If some things should just never be done or said,
then I will understand,
as a warm, loving man would.
You see, I have been searching for a heart that is true.
I am hoping my journey ends right here,
with you.
Do you think there could be love between the two of us,
from so far away—
from half a world away?
Because I believe it can.
It is destined.
But only if we can break through binds of caution,
and not worry of what people will think.
Only if you feel as I do.
Open your arms, baby,
because it is time to get serious
and embrace me
—and this heart—
from half a world away.
