CLOSE
by K. B. Johnson © Winter, 2013

Yes, I want to hold you close,
and put my ear to your chest,
under a cover of warmth,
and listen to the rasp of your soul with every breath inhaled
and then exhaled,
feeling your body rise and fall with life.

I want to hear the laughter of your spirit with every beat of your heart;
and delight in the embers of your passion,
tracing with ever the slightest touch,
your sensual,
soft,
fleshy
curves.

I want to be moved by you in return,
with the silly school girl smile,
and eyes full of lustful permission
to be close.
